Hi Family!

After coming home in May from my gap year mission trip, I didn’t have a big plan for what was next. I just knew I wanted whatever the Lord wanted for me. So I spent time seeking Him, asking Him to guide my next steps, and being open to wherever that might lead.

During that season, I felt my heart being pulled toward another missions trip with The World Race, this time an alumni trip to the 10/40 window. Even then, I wanted to be careful. I didn’t want to rush into anything just because I missed the mission field. I wanted to be sure it was truly God leading me and not just my own desire. Because of that, I spent a lot of time in prayer, asking Him for clarity.

Somewhere along the way, the Lord gently convicted me. I realized I had begun to idolize His answer instead of simply delighting in His presence. I was seeking direction more than I was seeking Him, more focused on what He would say than on who He is. Once that conviction settled in, I realigned my heart and returned to spending time with God just because He’s good and worthy of all my attention. And in that place of surrender, He graciously confirmed that He is calling me to go.

This upcoming trip will take me to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Morocco, all within the 10/40 window, places where access to the true Gospel is limited and many people have never encountered Jesus. We’ll be walking into spaces where His name isn’t often spoken, partnering with local ministries, and simply being obedient to love and serve whoever God puts in our path. I don’t need all the answers to take this step, I know the Spirit is leading, and that is enough for me.

Being home these past few months has been harder than I expected, yet it has also been deeply refining. One of the greatest gifts has been realizing that just when you think you truly know how to love someone, the Lord reveals a deeper level. He continues to unlock new places in my heart, showing me that love is a fruit that grows from spending time with our Heavenly Father. Because I know His love, I now have a new heart to love both those around me and the people I’m being sent to serve. That transformation alone has affirmed that this journey with the Lord is far from over, and I’m so thankful!

This season has reminded me of the disciples, how they followed Jesus step by step, learning from Him and depending on Him completely. I feel God growing me in the same way, especially in trusting Him to provide for this trip. Surrendering the outcome hasn’t been easy, but I’m choosing to believe that the same God who calls also provides.

Right now, I’m only 15% funded, and I need to be at 75% by January 10th, when training begins. I’m inviting you to partner with me through prayer, financial giving, or even sharing this journey with others. I truly can’t do this alone, and I don’t want to; every prayer and every gift is part of how the Lord is making this possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, for loving me, and for walking with me as I continue to say yes to whatever the Lord has next!! I hope you have a blessed rest of your day!
